Saw Alice in Wonderland last weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Very enjoyable.

All the 3D movies coming out right now remind me of back in 2006 when I saw Monster House, a 3D animated movie that was one of the first using the newest technology. A guy sat next to us before the show and was really surprised to see that everyone had 3D glasses. "This movie is in 3D? That's incredible!" he said. We told him to go downstairs to pick up his glasses. He returned and grabbed his stuff, and tells us that he was in the wrong theater, he's meant to go into Miami Vice. His mistake and the thought that Miami Vice could have been in 3D was hilarious at the time, and I still laugh about it.

But I guess if the movie was remade today i would be a real possibility.

So maybe its not that funny anymore?

I typed GAMIL instead of GMAIL this morning when I was trying to check my email, and I wound up at this website and got to learn about a 90 year old windmill artist named Vollis Simpson. Seriously, you might think you're some hot shit artist because you live in New York and pay too much rent but this guy is 90 and his materials are metal and wind. METAL AND WIND. Thats right. Put down your bagel and respect. -Judah

Thought for Food will display her portraits of writers intricately painted on paper plates.

Corinne spotted this item in the latest Time Out about a Brooklyn girl creating custom shrinky dink charm bracelets and necklaces:

....which bear a startling resemblance to my shrinky-dink charms that I created back in 2004 for Bazaar Bizarre:

Now, I'm not trying to claim ownership of shrinky-dink celebrity-inspired charms ... but this girl is charging up to $200 for these things!  I could barely get $5.  Hmm.

Artists erect giant pink bunny on mountain

An enormous pink bunny has been erected on an Italian mountainside where it will stay for the next 20 years.

The 200-foot-long toy rabbit lies on the side of the 5,000 foot high Colletto Fava mountain in northern Italy's Piedmont region.

Viennese art group Gelatin designed the giant soft toy and say it was "knitted by dozens of grannies out of pink wool".

Group member Wolfgang Gantner said: "It's supposed to make you feel small, like Gulliver. You walk around it and you can't help but smile."

And Gelatin members say the bunny is not just for walking around - they are expecting hikers to climb its 20 foot sides and relax on its belly.

The giant rabbit is expected to remain on the mountain side until 2025.
